How it works: the tool builds search URLs (scholar.google.com, Google 'filetype:pdf' queries) and opens them in a new tab. To integrate library access, paste your institution's proxy prefix and the tool will prepend it to the destination link. Blogger-compatible (paste into an HTML widget in your post).

How to use

  1. Type your query in the box. Example: "deep learning medical imaging" or a DOI like "10.1109/5.771073".
  2. Choose a search mode. "Google Scholar" builds a scholar link. "Google (filetype:pdf)" searches broadly for PDFs on Google. "Title exact" wraps the query in quotes for precise title match. "Author" formats the query to search by author.
  3. Optional: enter your library proxy prefix if you have one. If unsure, ask your library for the proxy URL. Example: https://proxy.example.edu/login?url=
  4. Click "Build & Open" to open the results in a new tab. If your browser blocks popups the tool will give you the direct link to click.
  5. Use "Copy Link" to copy the built search link to clipboard for sharing or saving.
